a weekend camping trip in Central Texas netted this gem footage of some girl tripping her wig off on some acid.  here’s a quote from one of the campers the next morning:

“I asked Dru that afternoon if he heard about her and he said not until SHE walked up to him the next morning and out of the blue announced “Yeah… sometimes I like to take a lot of acid… I mean a LOT of acid… and just freak out.” He said he had no clue what she was talking about and he just kinda smiled and said “Right on!” HE heard more about it later. I guess she was told what she was doing and figured she would kinda let everyone know she was ok… because I can’t imagine her recalling all of that herself.”

wow.  some people…   let this be a lesson to the rest of you.  just say no!

Sad news on the rave front… Legendary producer Ian Loveday a.k.a. EON passed away Wednesday, June 17th.  One of the first producers to gain popularity in the late ’80’s & early 90’s with rave anthems like “Spice” (famously sampled DUNE) and “Fear: The Mind Killer.”

so raise those glow sticks up high one last time and let that spice FLOW.

Next up some goodness from Armand Van Helden & Dizzee Rascal

That bassline is just BONKERS. Armand Van Helden (myspace) teaming up with Dizzee Rascal (myspace) is quite nice. The Doorly (myspace) UK dubstep remix is nice too!  At the Krush rave this past week i dropped the original with the bassline from the doorly remix in and out of it.  it got asses droppin’.
